2400 S Logan Ave was built in 1904 by August Reichmann as a "retail store". In 1909 the south additon at 2406 S Logan was added with 4 bowling lanes. Here's the history we have so far:
1909- bowling alley addition
1920’s- Martin Gorecki’s- soft drinks (prohibition). Martin's son John married silent screen actress Gilda Gray.
1930’s- Mary Gorecki’s Tavern
1935-1940- Kandziora's (Ray) Alleys
1940’s- Fenzel’s Tavern
1948-1956- Sasses (Sas Gaza Alleys)
1956-1959- Armory Lanes & Cocktail Bar
1960’s- Trails End Lodge (Otto and Mitzi)
1960’s-70’s- Chi Lite
1970’s-80’s- Cruise Inn (Don Kruczynski)
1980’s- Port of Call
19?? The Polish Villa (?)
1980‘s-90’s- Eddie Jackson’s steak house
1990's-2013(?) Marc Wolf Leather
